Ollama Storage Cleanup on Windows
Ollama makes local AI convenient, but downloaded models can quickly become some of the largest files on a Windows PC. ModelSpace gives you a visual way to inspect that storage before deciding what to remove.
See Ollama model storage in one place
ModelSpace detects the common Ollama model location on Windows, scans model files locally, and shows the total storage used by discovered models. You can review model names, file sizes, and locations without uploading your models or creating an account.
The overview also highlights the largest model file on your system. That makes it easier to understand whether a few large models are responsible for most of the space you are using.
Review before you clean
ModelSpace is designed around review-first cleanup. It does not silently delete Ollama models. You choose a discovered file, confirm the action, and ModelSpace sends that file to the Windows Recycle Bin.
Find exact duplicate model files
If you use multiple local AI tools, the same model data can sometimes exist in more than one location. ModelSpace compares candidate files by size and verifies exact duplicates with SHA-256 before reporting them as byte-for-byte matches.
This is useful when your goal is not simply to delete the biggest file, but to understand where duplicate storage may exist across your local AI setup.
